Lucia Magdalena de la Cruz Cuya, (* Lima, August 20, 1953) is a renowned Peruvian interpreter and folklorist. He plays Afro-Peruvian genres and Creole waltzes.
In 1970 he participated in his first International Song Festival, beginning his trophy harvest, conquering nothing more and nothing less than 27 festivals that allowed him to earn the name of "The Queen of Festivals", in which he knew how to leave the name of Peru very high.
Lucia was preferred by the most renowned composers of our environment, who did not miss the opportunity to offer her songs, such as: Vieja Limeña, I want you to be with me, The Hours I Lost, In this Room, I believe that there is a God, between others.
Lucia has recorded 17 Long Durations on acetate disc and 10 on Cd’s
